For Dragons, we are drawn to one of the UK’s most distinguished wind band composers, Philip Sparke, with his suite Year of the Dragon.
For Dances, we turn to the USA and Bennett’s ever-popular Suite of Old American Dances. But for our date with Destiny, we draw on our film music roots at the Elstree Studios with a Star Wars selection from John Williams. There are plenty of other dramatic moments in the programme as well as well-known tunes such as the selection from Evita. Undoubtedly, this will be one of our most dazzling programmes!
